Tarzan is a stream-based anonymizing network that
emphasizes simplicity and extensibility.
Many P2P systems try to implement anonymous at the application layer,
instead of at a lower-level anonymous transport layer. A robust free
infrastructure which can anonymize any streaming connection (such as
web browsing or file sharing) would benefit a wide array of current
p2p systems, since the anonymous connection could seamlessly replace
the current connection. This is the goal of Tarzan.
Tarzan is currently under development, it is closely
related to the Free Haven
project, which intends to use Tarzan to achieve its
anonymity goals.
