Storage Requirements

These requirements are independent of the system's anonymity, but must be fulfilled if the system is to be useful.

Integrity:

An authorized reader must receive the same document as originally placed into the system by the publisher, or recognize that the document has been altered.

Controlled Retrieval:

The system must specify some policy for retrieving the document.

Efficient Retrieval:

An authorized reader must be able to efficiently retrieve the document.

Persistence:

It must be clear how long the document can remain stored, and the system must fill all commitments to store a document for a given amount of time.
